Cloudflare Workers Shop
- Joda StößerHanover, Germany
Having to still smooth out the edges on our Worker router approach to allow for multiple workers on the Cloudflare Workers platform on a single request, we decided to come full circle and return to the roots: Building & market our own workers.
Instead of providing a fully automated & integrated marketplace, we'll either provide the source files or compiled WASM assets to uploads & update yourself.
The results were all of our ideas based on @CloudflareDev Workers. Limited scope in requirements (no frontend, limited by the stack), high value & impact for customers, no upfront investment & running cost but the development time.https://t.co/eyRhPwEGhJ

Of course, providing them in a shop built on Swell:

All our other approaches, a public Marketplace for all vendors, automated deployment, integrated configuration, multi-worker configuration and automated share distribution.
Owing to this, a new idea formed: Our own Workers shop 🛒🛍️

As we couldn't find one & there are some challenges of automatically distributing Workers to accounts, we went back to the drawing board and sketched a much more complex idea.
This will be the shortest amount of development to get to a magnetizable product and the first version of our worker shop & workshop.
In the spirit of getting as quickly to v1 and built atop of it, we decided to go with this approach first.
